FAQs

Why have you contacted me?
You were contacted because your original investment provider has made changes to how your case is being managed. This may include transferring client information, restructuring operations, or shifting communication responsibilities. We help explain why this happened and what it means for your specific situation.

Your details were passed on through your original provider as part of their internal processes.
This can occur when a company changes partners, enters difficulty, or updates how client accounts are handled.
We provide clear context on how the transfer was made and why you were included.

If you have already received your payment, we can help confirm whether:

  • Everything was completed correctly

  • The amount matches what you were owed

  • All closing documents have been issued

  • Your account is fully resolved

Many clients contact us simply for reassurance and verification.

If you are still waiting for a payment or withdrawal, we help determine:

  • Whether it was correctly processed

  • What stage your case is currently in

  • Whether any delays are normal or concerning

  • If additional steps or documents are required

We also reference standard timelines, including the typical 60-day processing window, to ensure clarity.

We often get asked this question – why does the lease have someone else’ name on it?

The answer is fairly straightforward; when you purchase some investments, you do not become the asset owner, you are the beneficiary of the account. . The procedure is simply that ownership of the investment is transferred to the purchaser (in this case you), upon the asset being sold.

The Ownership Searches include a vast amount of additional information relating to the Asset, such as the purchase price, restrictive and personal covenants, rights of ownership, the extent of the Asset owned, restrictions to sell and more. Please discuss this with your advisor.

Quite often, customers will ask if they can be sure that they are looking at the most up to date Asset Registry documents available.

We obtain documents at the time the order is placed (it would be impossible for us to keep a stash of out of date documents for every registered Asset!), so we always send out the most up to date documents available.
